It's a great time to be a Seattle football fan. Neither the Hawks or Dawgs played particularly huge games, but things are looking bright. First on Saturday morning the Hawks acquired Jadeveon Clowney from the Texans for practically nothing. It goes without saying that he'll be a game-changer on this Hawk defense. Then, the Dawgs crushed Eastern Washington, but more importunity was Jacob Eason who looked phenomenal. This is exactly what Dawg fans were hoping for. Finally, Oregon put up a good showing but still lost to Auburn. T some (like Dick for example), it'd have been better if the Ducks won for the sake of the conference, but at least the Oregon team didn't look awful.
