Softy is off again this week, so the Gas Man joins us once again today. There was a point in time when tennis captured more attention, but there's no argument that some of the great players in the history of the game are playing right now. Two of those players on the men's side, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic faced off in an epic match yesterday lasting nearly five hours. That is, to put it bluntly, a lot of tennis to ask someone to watch, but Dick was lucky enough to tune in right at the tiebreaker. The M's are back in action after the All Star break, and things aren't going well. It's not just that they're losing, it's that they aren't even trying, playing with, to quote Ryan Divish, "disregard for sense and purpose." Meanwhile, the Angels got the feel-good story on Friday night in the first home game since the passing of Tyler Skaggs. It was fifty years ago this week that man first landed on the moon. Gas remembers where he was when it happened.
