Mariners win last night, Cano gets his first home run since returning, and Diaz got his 48th save of the year. He's only the third player to get 100 saves in his first three years in the league. Right now, he's right on pace to tie the all-time record for most saves in a season with 62. Based on his performance so far, the M's will need to win about 24 of their last 36 games in order to give Diaz the chance to save 15 and break the record. Can he do it? Softy and Dick wager on it. Felix pitched last night, and you pretty much saw what you wanted to see from his performance. If you think he's going to make a comeback, there were enough good innings to give you hope. If you think he's done, the third inning might have proven your point. The question still remains, what to do with him now.
