Braves rookie Ronald Acuna is having a solid rookie season. In fact, he's having a great season. Acuna homered in five straight games and was looking to make it six, until he was plunked by Marlins pitcher Jose Urena. There doesn't seem to be much doubt that Acuna was hit on purpose, but is it justifiable to hit a batter just because he's good? Where's the line when it comes to hitting guys at the plate? It's kind of strange to claim that the player making the biggest impact at training camp is a punter, but in terms of guys in the 2018 class for the Seahawks, Michael Dickson is definitely making the biggest impact. Now with Baldwin out for a few weeks and Penny also out, we need to find out who our big play makers are on the offense. Diaz is unquestionably one of the best pitchers in the game this year; definitely the top closer, but he's going to have an uphill battle to climb to win the Cy Young. A closer hasn't even been in consideration for several years, and to make matters worse, playing on the West Coast means most people back East never even get to see him play. It's going to take baseball writers and others publicly making a case for him to get him the recognition he deserves.
