Tony Softli continues to fill in for Dick Fain as we all continue to fight our way through the smoke that has enveloped everything. One would imagine bad air quality like this would be reason enough to move practice inside, but it was business as usual at the VMAC Rashaad Penny is in Philadelphia getting his finger worked on. Reports are that the surgery went well. Don't they always go well though? Tony recalls an incident involving a player when he was with Carolina when it did not go as well. James Paxton was hit in the forearm and is on the 10-day disabled list. Adam thinks he should toughen up. Ian Furness talked to Pete Carroll earlier this afternoon.
