Colin Kaepernick and the NFL have reached a settlement for an undetermined amount of money, ending the collusion suit. It's a little shocking that the league would do this, because it at the very least gives the appearance of guilt, but there could have been untold amounts of dirt coming out in this that the league didn't want unearthed. Did the league really keep him out because of the off-the-field drama, or was it because he wasn't good enough? The NFL has shown over and over again that if you can play at an elite level, they'll overlook just about anything else. We've seen it this weel already with Kareem Hunt. Legalized sports betting may be coming to Washington. Chris Stearns with the Washington State Gambling Commission discusses the possible bills being proposed. Just as people smoked marijuana whether it was legal or not, people are going to put money on games whether the state says they can or not. Let's just move forward and legalize it. There's no real reason not to.
