We talked about it yesterday, but the more we look at the Pac-12 Networks revenue story, the worse it looks. Schools were promised at least $3 million in revenue at the minimum, but are getting about a third of that. Meanwhile, Big 10 schools are getting closer to $50 million from their network. So the Pac-12 didn't want to share ownership with a major network, so instead they've got a network bringing in almost nothing, and teams are getting less exposure. Specifically in basketball, it's almost as if the conference doesn't exist, and perception is reality sometimes. Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News digs deeper into the story. Is there any way to fix this? One way or the other, Larry Scott better figure it out.
