Just four months ago, when everyone in the media was making their pre-season predictions, no one saw the Hawks being where they are; 10-6, headed into the playoffs in the 5 spot, making it fairly comfortably. Now they're up against a team in the Dallas Cowboys in a different spot. There fanbase expects to win, their coach has seemingly been on the hot seat for awhile, and their owner is ever-present. The Hawks will play Saturday night, which isn't ideal for a team built so much on habit. Gavin Dawson, host of G-Bag Nation on 105.3 the Fan talks about this weekend's game from the Dallas perspective. Ratings for the bowl games were very high, not just for the championship play-in games but for the Rose Bowl and others. As much as many in the media talk about bowl games meaning nothing, it's not true for the players, coaches, and fanbases that participate.
