Listener Lorena submitted a Make Happiness Happen request in hopes to help her coworker Erika. Lorena has been working as the Youth Services Librarian for the Spring Valley library for about a year now. Every day she couldn’t help but notice what an impact their security guard Erika has had on their community. She has such a big heart! She’s helped create a place for the kids in the neighborhood to feel safe and loved. She is a single mother who works 4 jobs to help support her 4 kids, her youngest is 5 and oldest is 14. Lorena says Erika is one of the strongest women she has ever met. Due to the coronavirus, their library has been forced to close and Erika has been moved to patrol another location, doing her best and trying to work as much as she can with the current changes our community is facing.
