Is university really worth it? Certainly the vested interest of filling courses with fee paying students has led to academic inflation where all standards have been dropped so school get better exam results and universities get more students with better results. No longer does a university degree guarantee a job. But it does guarantee servitude to the state through debt. Perhaps the most important role of university is for young minds to take make that final stage of development in life experience but this is not going to happen in a politically correct environment where millennials are wrapped in cotton wool and universities have a vested interest to pump out courses. What is necessary for success ? Creativity and conscientiousness which are no longer the focus of our dumbed down academic institutions. We also touch on psychedelic drugs and biological differences between the sexes.
