Hey there everyone! I have to say, I'm always surprised when I start going through Dresden Files artwork and I realize how few illustrations there are of certain characters, and that happened again with Elaine. I just thought that she had such cool weapons and was in a few really sticky situations with Harry that would look great visually, that there had to be a few out there, but really there's only two. So I chose this one, which includes some other side characters that we've met already, and depicts her with her awesome green taser-chain.
In these chapters, Harry spends some time recovering from the injuries he sustained at the lake, but not as much time as you'd think due to Elaine's reiki skills. They head out to check on the Ordo, and it turns out that things have taken a rather tragic turn. And it looks like Helen Beckett was the person to be suspicious of after all.
