I have been intrigued by the Lacerta story ever since I first ran across it many years ago, before THI. I am so grateful to you, Tommy for delving into it... As always such great information! Thank you for your support of humanity and WTP! ❤
Another fascinating show. How interesting that Tommy should dig up the Lacerta interview. To my knowledge this first appeared (in text form) on an alt.news forum way back in 2002. Part 1 then appeared on https://english.pravda.ru/news/russia/47065-n/ which is dated 24.07.2022. The full interview (Parts 1 and 2) is available to read at https://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vida_alien/esp_vida_alien_52.htm, which is dated as 26/12/2004 and quotes the pravda.ru article as its source. Well worth a read for anyone who's interested. I believe it's also available on YouTube, though uses those horrible robot voices as narrators.
One point though. Tommy made an error at timecode 58:14 when referring to Lacerta's kind "going in the sun to lower their body temperature..."
Lacerta states the opposite, twice. Firstly when describing her body:
"The main task of these small plates (beside a role in our sexuality) is simply the regulation of our body temperature and if we sit in natural or artificial sunlight, these plates become more blood-filled and the vessels become wider and the sun is able to heat up our reptoid blood (which circulates through the body and through the plates) for many degrees and that gives us a great pleasure."
And secondly, later in the interview, when replying to the following question:
"What about your body temperature? You've said that you enjoy to lay in the sun. What effect have this to your organism?"
Answer: "We are no mammals and as reptiles our body temperature depends on the temperature of our surrounding. If you touch my hand you will maybe feel that it is colder then yours, because our normal body temperature is around 30 to 33 degree celsius. If we sit in the sun (especially naked and with our row of small backplates in the sun) our body temperature can rise for 8 or 9 degrees within minutes. This rise causes a production of many enzymes and hormones in our body, our heart and brain and every organ becomes more active and we feel then very, very good. You humans only enjoy to be in the sun, but for us it is the greatest pleasure you can imagine (maybe like your sexual excitement.) We also enjoy to swim in very warm water or other liquids to rise our body temperature. If we are for some hours in the shadow, our temperature goes back to 30 to 33 degrees. This can cause no harm to us, but we feel much better in the sun. We have artificial sun-rooms in the underground but this is not the same for us like the real sun."
...other liquids? Hmm?
One last question, why would Lacerta (Latin for 'Lizard') use that name when she must have realised that there are humans who understand Latin, so would ask her why she chose such an odd name? This would be like a lycanthrope in human form choosing the name Lupus.
