Hey Freddie! In regards to your interview with Art Gray, I have some comments. Privately owned racetracks are licensed and governed by the state in which they are located....just like a hairdresser, an attorney, realtors and banks. Therefore, you have to abide by what the state says. If you're a horseman in a particular state where you are licensed and in good standing, you should be able to participate at said racetrack. There are horseman who are barred from certain tracks having minor or no state infractions while others with infractions are allowed to race. There must be consistency and that's why the racetracks should follow the laws of that state. We can not have one person making up their own rules. This is not a dictatorship but, rather, a democracy. Do tracks get any state subsidies? Whether or not they do, I stand by my comments!
