Lawmakers overwhelmingly passed the resolution titled, “Affirming the United States Record on the Armenian Genocide,” which officially recognized and condemned the genocide which resulted in the Ottoman Empire murdering 1.5 million Armenians from 1915 to 1923. Ilhan Omar voted “present” for this resolution. Omar did however recently proclaim her moral outrage about the fact that Walmart’s CEO earns a considerably larger income than those of Walmart cashiers. Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey announced that the social media platform is stopping all political advertising on its platform, saying that the reach that politicians have on the platform should be earned and not bought. Dem leaders appear not to be on the same page when it comes to an “impeachment resolution.” Don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows.
