According to a report by "60 Minutes", brain scans of adolescents who are heavy users of smartphones, tablets, and video games look different from those of less active screen users. These are preliminary results from an ongoing study funded by the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Warren Farrell, author of The Boy Crisis: Why Our Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It, and the current Chair of the Commission to Create a White House Council on Boys and Men, will join me to discuss this report. President Trump has signaled that U.S. forces will soon fully withdraw from Syria, having completed their mission to defeat the Islamic State. The administration reportedly is in the planning stages to remove all of the 2,000 American forces currently stationed inside Syria, which has been devastated by a yearslong civil war and has become ground zero in a broad proxy war involving Israel, Iran, Turkey, Russia, and other actors. Dan Perkins, author of The Brotherhood of the Red Nile: A Terrorist Perspective, will join me to discuss it. Don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day! All of this and more as time allows. Listen live, join the chatroom, be a part of the show.
