GaKnew Roxwel (pronounced Gnu Rocks Well) is a multifaceted LosAngeles Hiphop artist as well as case manager for foster youth who have delinquency cases. GaKnew advocates for social justice as he works in collaboration with the youth’s attorneys, serving as a bridge between the foster care and juvenile justice systems. He recently appeared in the HBO documentary, Foster, helping a youth deal with trauma through music. GaKnew is a self produced emcee, visual artist, and author. He uses his crafts to connect with at risk use and his music as a vehicle for social work.
