In this episode of "BROC ortho talk," Matt is joined by Dr. Adam N. Whatley, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with over 10 years in practice. He specializes in joint replacements of the hip, knee, and shoulder, cartilage regeneration, sports medicine, and fracture care.
Dr. Whatley completed his undergraduate degree at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He went on to complete both his medical degree and orthopaedic surgery residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans. He then received fellowship training with Harvard University at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA, one of the top facilities in the country. During his fellowship focused on sports medicine, he gained a great deal of experience with joint replacement therapy and cartilage restoration. In June 2009, he won the Jack Winters Award for Most Outstanding Senior Research Presentation.
