We're racing a Wellcraft 31 Scarab off the coast of South Florida in mid-July. We scouted the waters for a competitor and found one about a mile off the coast. The competitor quickly jumped out front, but it was no match for the Wellcraft 31 Scarab. Powered by twin 502s, we quickly accelerated to 60, then 70 MPH, got airborne and left the competition in our wake.
