This down-home one-on-one conversation about spiritual gifts and being a light in the world with Bishop Dennis reminds us that we all have a calling and a purpose for why were are here. He speaks about his transition from the corporate business world to the cloth and becomes transparent about one of his biggest regrets. He encourages and subtly demands that we find our purpose and get busy "being." One of his signature books, Marketplace Jesus, was inspired by his spiritual journey and career path. Had he known he could "be" who God created and purposed him to be as a businessman AND a minister, he would have stayed on his corporate path. Bishop Dennis tells us that you don't need to wear a title or leave your job if you have a spiritual "calling" but that you can merge your "being" and become just as effective in your profession as you can when you serve in your local church.
