show moreOnce the engenue, Amy Bruni now finds herself a veteran mainstay and the only woman on the TAPS team. Amy is a good example of what happens when a hobby turns into a passion, which in turn becomes a way of life.
Like many paranormal invetigators Amy grew up in a haunted house, but unlike most in that situation, her family embraced it.Bruni's father was an amateur paranormal investigator and routinely he and Amy investigated haunted sites. From a young age she read and absorbed everything paranormal related she could, and as she grew to adulthood that didn't change.
Amy began investigating with a paranormal team in Sacramento, California. As soon as she stepped foot in the field professionally, her pursuits took off.
Her lifetime of supernatural knowledge drew the attention of Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson of The Atlantic Paranormal Society. As a TAPS team member, Amy’s quest to spread knowledge of the paranormal nationwide has led her to organizing paranormal conferences.
She also started the company, Beyond Reality Events with Hawes and Wilson. More recently, Bruni has been using her connections in the field to conduct important research on the nature of group dynamics in the paranormal and she's begun lecturing on ghosts and the supernatural.
