The news of companies waiving criminal background checks and drug tests has been making it’s rounds in recent weeks, and it's not surprising that this latest development is met with some degree of fear. With employers becoming increasingly open to dropping traditional vetting practices in the interest of quickly securing personnel, it understandably raises eyebrows and leaves many to wonder what implications such a decision presents. In this episode I discuss background and drug testing waivers, why they are occurring and the effects it can have on the job market.
