May the Force be with you, Slackers! In honor of the new Disney + series "Obi-Wan Kenobi"*, this episode is all about Star Wars, from 1977 until today. Star Wars started out as a very "Gen X" franchise, but now crosses numerous generations.
The Obi-Wan series brings up so many emotions but also many questions about the legacy of George Lucas as Disney now holds the keys to that universe. And is Obi-Wan really the emotional center of the entire galaxy, given his close ties to all of the Skywalkers?
I'll explain my love for the prequels, give my thoughts on the Disney sequels, and provide my rankings of all the live action cinematic releases, Episodes I - IX (you're not gonna like it), with some praise for the animated series in there as well.
