Limit Break Stories is a Limit Break Media project dedicated to promoting and curating inspiring and positive stories. To that end I am also speaking to creatives with different perspectives who are steeped in the art of storytelling in different mediums.

Today our Limit Breaker is Chris Leoni.

Christopher Leoni is a Latin American writer/director/actor whose focus is on diversifying the depiction of Hispanic culture. After serving in the Marines, Christopher laid down his rifle and picked up a pen to continue serving others by telling their stories.

He wrote and directed INK (6 mins) which went on to be a finalist for the New York Cinematography Awards in 2020, Pitch Boys (17 mins) in 2020, Intern on Parade (festival rounds) and A Moment for Glory (Post-production). He successfully organized and ran a film festival titled ‘Cinema Collective’ in 2019 at the SVA theatre with more than 500 guests. His genre preferences are comedy, action, and thriller.

Chris is a proud member of the Limit Break Collective and donates his skills and expertise to make creative stories possible. He’s very passionate about storytelling.

Today we discuss the process of booking a role, get a little deep, and go over how storytelling emerges through two different mediums, film and theater.
