Only a suicidal, self-destructive, self-entitled, and narcissistic culture would abandon civility, accomplishment, adaptation, and technology in the name of the least developed parts of the world; sacrificing the first world to the third. This suicide-cult advocates for wasting our abundance in the name of artificial scarcity. It conditions to believe that instead of using our ‘privilege’ to help others, we should repent for our blessings and instead strive to be like the billions of people unable to read or write, with no clean or running water and waste management, or food. Taboos like cannibalism and drinking human blood are also being normalized and romanticized as part of a cultural reset, whereas they were once conducted for specific reasons like famine, family honor, or sympathetic magic ritual.
