They discuss why Ros became a scientist, what her day to day life as a research scientist entails, the most important things she has learned in her career, as well as her passion for women in science. They will also be delving into Ros’s research on aquaporins (a family of tiny proteins) and how they change the way in which we treat traumatic brain injuries and combat cognitive decline such as dementia.
