On this Episode of West Catholic Live, we meet our Commended Scholars, join All Saints Academy principal and West Catholic alum, who brings his Principal for the Day to school to pass out some detentions and also recap Operation Joy. We also have Maggie Duba, who just signed her official letter of intent to run Cross County and Track at the University of San Diego, filling in to do Cam's Giveaway. (This show was recorded Feb. 2.)

Operation Joy with Sean Nolan (7:32):
Dean of Students Sean Nolan and Strategic Content Creator John Gonzalez interview Sarah Loveland, an ICU Nurse at Mercy Health St. Mary's. They talk about "Operation Joy," a letter-writing campaign as part of Catholic Schools Week with the students of West Catholic High School and other partner schools. Students are writing letters of gratitude and encouragement to the health care workers as part of a service project. In this interview, Loveland talks about her job of working in ICU, as well the "fatigue" that has set in dealing with COVID-19. She thanks everyone for the words of encouragement, which she said "boosts morale."
