After the Taliban took over Afghanistan last year, there were concerns about what would happen to the rights of ordinary citizens, how women would be treated, and whether the country’s economy would crash.

Now, after more than a year of the takeover, how is Afghanistan faring? How different is the current Taliban regime from the one in the 90s? And what do people in the region make of the changes?
