Clairvius Narcisse was supposed to have died on May 2, 1962. He was buried and then dug up by the priest that had doused him with the powder. The priest gave Clairvius a paste made from Datura, also known as the Devils Trumpet, a hallucinogenic plant. Clairvius was then forced to work as a slave for the next eighteen years.
