After founder Lisa Nicole Rosado left her job as a retail buyer in New York City to build a blog and boutique, she struggled to find a welcoming, supportive community for emerging business owners like her. So… she created one! That’s how the We Are Women Owned Sisterhood was born.

Today, in addition to the Sisterhood Community, WAWO is home to the Small Business Directory and a series of virtual and in-person pop-up events. In other words? It’s the destination for women makers, do-ers, and curators + the people who want to support them.
