My guest this week is Craig Carlson, a New York Times bestselling author who has written two memoirs, “Pancakes in Paris” and “Let Them Eat Pancakes.” Equally as important, Craig is the founder and owner of the first American-style diner in Paris, Breakfast in America, which has been featured in "The Lonely Planet" and "Frommer's Paris" travel guides. Craig’s memoirs are candid, insghtful and laugh-out-loud funny, and our conversation was just as honest. We discuss his evolution as a writer, a filmmaker, and a multi-cultural traveler. Who do you think would play him in the movie of his life?

About Us
Since well before Victor Hugo looked up at Notre Dame and thought, "Huh... what if a hunchback lived in there?" authors have been inspired by Paris. The Storytime in Paris podcast will help keep this tradition alive with short interviews and readings from your favorite contemporary authors with a French connection.
Every episode will feature five questions, asked by you, our authors' biggest fans, and answered live on air. Then, our authors will treat us to a reading of an excerpt from their book. Who knows? Maybe you'll even be inspired to write your own Great French Novel. Happy listening!
