This week Haider Rubbani & Rob Blanchette sit down to analyse Manchester United's tactical performance against Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be demanding revenge after the 6-1 thrashing to the hands of Spurs in the early fixture in October. The fortunes of both sides have changed since then, with United sitting in 2nd and Spurs in 7th.

With City having dropped points with a loss against Leeds, Ole will be hoping for a win here and in the other game in hand to close the gap to 8 points, with 6 games to play. Jose will be demanding a win here for Spurs to close the gap to 2 points on Chelsea who sit in 4th spot.

A fantastic second half performance by a Paul Pogba inspired United secured the 3 points for Ole’s men. The Red Devil’s had to come from behind again after a shocking VAR decision ruled out Cavani’s opener.

Son put Spurs ahead a few minutes later before 3 second half goals by Fred, Cavani & Mason extended the gap between themselves and 3rd to 6 points. A huge victory for the men in red, as they gained revenge after the thrashing at Old Trafford.
