I couldn't help but share some real talk today about manifesting. Sometimes it can be so exhausting to be part of the spiritual community, and hear so much "selling" of the process of manifestation. It feels like every new moon, or eclipse, or any special alignment in the sky, becomes an opportunity for every teacher out there to sell this idea that "THIS is the one where all your dreams can come true."
Now I know that even I am a teacher of intention setting and manifestation rituals, and I love using nature's lunar cycle as a reminder to take time to come back to the beginning where new dreams can be founded. But I also wanted to explore the other side of the coin here, and remind everyone who feels exhausted, or drained, or stuck, or overwhelmed that just because you're not in a place to "Manifest" in a cliche way doesn't mean that you're missing anything, nor that you've missed your chance. In fact, sometimes resting and moving towards clarity is the most important thing we can do for ourselves!
Every single one of us knows that there's no magic button; no wand to wave or mantra to chant that will instantly make everything we desire come true. The real work is a combination of getting clear about what we want and moving ourselves towards it, and also around adjusting our expectations so we can be in the right place in our psyche and hearts.
I hope this episode is a good reminder that there's no one way to be a manifestor, or really to be in control of your life. Life is a constant ebb and flow, and we go through different phases- just like our moon. So whatever phase you're in- just relax and enjoy as much as you can, be present with yourself, and keep doing all that you're doing right.
