"Cast" is a word crowned with many definitions, holds several connotations, and a lot of expectations. Let's explore the meanings as they apply to theater: assigning roles, shaping, discarding, loosing the hounds and dramatic light and shadow.
This piece was written for the stage and has been recorded in such a way that I hope audience members feel themselves in their theater rows, ticket stubs growing limp in their sweaty palms.
