Alex & Maddie got to chat about the subject of Sony Picture's upcoming film "Father Stu" with two people who have come to know the man himself very well: Father Bart Tolleson, from the Diocese of Helena and a close friend of Father Stu's, and Mark Wahlberg, who portrayed him in the film.
I just listened to your podcast about Fr. Stu. I did see the movie and certainly was moved by it. The message I received was Love, God's Love for all of us, His creation. The language, the lifestyle, the upbringing of this young man and conversion is amazing and truly beautiful.
I'm not sure if you are familiar with Fr. Gregory Boyles' book "Tattoos on the Heart," but this book contains so many conversions of gang members in LA and will leave you in awe of God's love and how he doesn't want to lose anyone one of us.
