This week we talk all about the recent film release that has stormed (pun intended) over movie theaters everywhere, "The Northman"! 

Directed by Robert Eggers and released in 2022, "The Northman" tells a story of classic viking legend. Featuring Alexander Skarsgård in the lead role of Amleth, the viewer watches a story unfold through this film of a vikings family falling apart and the myth of whether or not Amleth can truly hold his vows successsfully. Is this film truly worth all of the hype it's receiving through the media? We discuss this and more on our episode this week!

Plot: Prince Amleth is on the verge of becoming a man when his father is brutally murdered by his uncle, who kidnaps the boy's mother. Two decades later, Amleth is now a Viking who raids Slavic villages. He soon meets a seeress who reminds him of his vow - save his mother, kill his uncle, avenge his father.
