In 1977, as Johnstown faces recession and concerns about the future of the Bethlehem Steel mills, the city is rocked by another historic flood in this play that shows the grit and determination of steel mill culture.

Chuck Arnold is a Johnstown steel worker with a wife and two children. He enjoys his work, and tries to ignore concerns that things may soon change in the mills. But soon, larger forces in the form of flood waters will force Chuck, his family, his co-workers, and his town to face larger challenges and be reminded of what is most important as they strive to be resilient in the face of adversity.
