Staying with my family in Runda we went to a vacant lot behind some beautiful houses and joined in a Christmas celebration with Kenyans. Swahili for the first time in over 2o years. I loved hearing that!It made me think about my Ugandan friends and all the other children I went to school with and how I never gotto say goodbye to them in 1972.Christmas in Kenya after 20 years away from Africa. Plus a moment of the Indian Ocean at sun rise- I love Mobasa so much. I was staying at my Family's resort called Shaanti. It is heaven on earth.
