Since 1976, only 3 prisoners have been executed by a firing squad. All three of them were put to death in Utah. This is one of their stories. Ronnie Lee Gardner was born into an abusive house and lived a childhood so horrible, it might be hard to believe. This unfit childhood set him on a path of crime and, eventually, murder.
