Logan Williams is an ultrarunner born and raised in the Reno-Tahoe area who is now based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, where he attends law school at the University of Utah.
On July 10th Logan set out from the Spooner Summit trailhead to make a FKT (Fastest Known Time) attempt on the Tahoe Rim Trail, which is a 173-mile hiking trail that circumnavigates the Lake Tahoe Basin in the Sierra Nevada and Carson mountain ranges of California and Nevada.
In addition to this athletic goal, Logan made the attempt to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association. So far he has raised over $6,000 and you can continue to donate to his GoFundMe by following this link: https://gf.me/u/yat976
Although he did obtain the supported FKT, he completed the loop in a blazing 51 hours and 19 minutes, forever etching his name on a short list of impressive athletes bold enough to take on and finish this great undertaking.
