The title of this podcast has caught my interest and while watching it, I've discovered some errors in my personal experience. Paying attention to things that really don't matter has led me to wrong decisions , what more if a certain company commits this mistake, it will probably become a huge blow. With the help of this video, leaders will be aware and will surely think of possible ways to avoid wrong decisions in a company setting.
Thank you for sharing this podcast. It's very educative and am glad to have learned more about attentional bias. Given the intense, in-the-moment nature of threats and opportunities in the ancestral savanna, this bias is understandable. Yet in the modern environment, sometimes information that doesn’t feel emotionally salient is actually the most important data. As the pandemic broke out, companies and other organizations overwhelmingly turned to their existing emergency business continuity plan and then simply continued with that plan as the pandemic continued. Thanks for this!
