Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast Announces New Board

In the United States, March is recognized as Women's History Month and Pensacola's Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast (PWGC) is making history this month. PWGC is undergoing a transformation that will strengthen the organization, the community, and its members. Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast has been recognized by the City of Pensacola as an important organization supporting business women in our area and is building momentum.

A new Board of Directors has been named along with new Officers who will guide the growth and direction of the organization. The new Board of seventeen individuals constitutes a wide variety of skills, talents, and backgrounds bringing diverse thinking to PWGC. Board members represent the areas of real estate, accounting and finance, health and wellness, beauty and skin care, fitness, entertainment, retail, and professional services.

The following seventeen individuals have assumed positions on the Board of Directors for Powerful Women of the Gulf Coast:
Officers: Christina Powers; J Christine Briggs, ARNP; Mia Bolden, ACC; Alyssa Warren, MS LMHC
Board Members: Lacie J Bowden; Felicia Fortune Northcutt; Laura Swann; Margie Kalaluhi; Cheryl Weir; Kaila A Barrington; Dr. Lynne Virant, PT, DPT; Chris Watley; Lorie A Weekley; Bethany Lauren; Patrica Allbritton; and Madrina Ciano. Kolleen Edwards Chesley will continue to lead the organization as founding director.
