I am Julie Hall, 66 yr old female, 100% disabled vetran, gold star mother as of January 2000, my husband Greg Hall never would go with me to counseiling me, I came home from working at Florida group homes & found him on the floor, I checked his vitals & relized he had died & was coming out of rigor He had died of a Heart Attack July 13th 2004. Then went through hurricanes Charlie, Francis etc. My oldest son Gregory, lives in Titusville, Fl also he is a veteran also & visits once a week. I live alone, Hurricane Ian wasn't to bad but scary as no power during him. Brought back a lot of bad memories, as if I needed that along with all my other health issues. Sleeping very little lately.

Hello Ezequiel, Please talk to your health care provider about your weight gain. Your provider can discuss possible causes and solutions with you. Your provider may recommend a referral to a dietician based on the discussion. VA also has the Whole Health and MOVE programs which have great resources for healthy living and weight management, https://www.va.gov/wholehealth/ and https://www.move.va.gov/

Whole food plant based diet is the key to many diseases including obesity. I weigh what I did in highschool 175 and 6 ft and have been whole food plant based for more than 10 years now.
