Today in #coffeewithatherapist we are getting real. We are getting vulnerable. Dealing with people you don't like or who don't like you is hard. Part of dealing with people means doing the hard thing of having compassion and empathy for someone that doesn't like you or you don't like. For me, it's a little easier to have compassion for the "haters" or people that don't like me, but it can be harder to have compassion for those that I DO like. In this video, I share my own struggles and the ways I've reframed things so that I can have compassion and empathy for the lovers, haters, and annoying people alike (and pointed the finger right back on myself -- because we are all a little annoying / hateworthy).
