Galatians is an important book for same sex attracted and gender diverse persons (LGBTIQ). In this letter Paul is angry because the Jewish leaders are telling the Gentiles they must be circumcised in order to be saved. They hold a council in Jerusalem which decides that this is an unnecessary burden to put on the Gentiles. How many meetings have been held related to the rainbow community. The leaders ask: what should we do with these believers. Our answer is the same as Paul's. There is only one Gospel (good news) it is the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ; not adherence to the law. At Melbourne Inclusive Church we do not believe that our same sex attraction or gender diversity is a sin but rather a beautiful expression of the diversity of God. But we all sin and we need a Saviour. This good news is for everyone so regardless of your view we should agree on this one thing...we are not saved by the law-we are saved through faith in Jesus Christ. This debate was finished at Calvary.

Melbourne Inclusive Church boldly and proudly proclaims Christ’s equal love for all people regardless of their ability, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, age, gender or culture.
