I talk with one of my listeners, who reached out to me after listening to episode 9. Irasema dealt with sexual assault in college, and it sent her into a downward spiral. She no longer exceeded in her classes, and isolated herself from her friends and family. Irasema talks about her journey coming to terms with her experience, and how she recovered to become a top notch student again. Irasema is a premed student who is applying to medical school in June 2019.
