First episode of "What's The Word" with me, Wes Haven! In this episode I talk with a US Army Veteran who was a Ranger during tours in Iraq and Afganistan, about his PTSD and it's effect on his journey back into a civilian world. The subject is only 30 years old and not only does he suffer from severe PTSD, but was also recently diagnosed with CANCER. We talk about his struggles to assimilate back into society, raising a family with 3 daughters, dealing with cancer, and his PTSD all at once, and the treatment he received through the VA program.
