The man convicted of manslaughter and motor vehicle homicide in the 2016 death of state Trooper Thomas Clardy received his sentence yesterday - five to seven years. Prosecutors say David Njuguna, a medical marijuana patient, was high when he drove at 80 mph into Trooper Clardy’s stopped cruiser on the Massachusetts Turnpike killing the 44-year-old father of seven.
