Today President Biden made an impassioned speech in Georgia pushing for national voting rights bills and a change to the Senate’s filibuster rules. Since the 2020 election there have been 19 states that have passed more restrictive voting laws. Any passing of a national voting bill would counter the individual state’s laws.
