The salvation of Israel and judgment is key to the eschatology expressed in the Little Apocalypse of Isaiah 24-29.  These are twin concepts which cannot be separated or dichotomized.

Thomas Ice says the achilles heel of fulfilled preterism in 70AD is that it only focused on judgment. This is not true. It is a false contrast, contradiction and dichotomy.

As Dr. Michael Brown admitted in his debate with Don Preston, the salvation and judgment of Israel occurred at the same time.

A growing number of scholars have observed that Israel's salvation would come through judgment.

Romans 11:27 and Isaiah 59 present a context of both salvation and judgment. To ignore the judgment context of Romans implies that Israel's judgment must continued until an alledge future return of Christ.

An additional point is that Israel would be saved in the same manner as the Gentiles, Acs 15. But the Gentiles did not obey the gospel until about 10 years after Pentecost. For that time, all Israel knew was the "Torah" gospal, i.e a gospel in which they did not yet fully understand was separate from the Law.

When Peter asked why tempt God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which we were unable to bear, he is saying the Gentiles would not be burdened with the law as they were. But, he says more than this. He says they (Israel) would be saved in the same manner as the Gentiles.

How long would this continue? Until the fulness of the Gentiles had come in. If this salvation is not yet complete, then Old Covenant Israel's salvation is yet unfulfilled and their judgment  has not yet occurred. This would continue until an alleged end of the world.

It also means Israel's law, Torah is yet in effect and will not be removed until the alleged future return of Christ. http://www.eschatology.org
