Many have difficulty understanding the resurrection as the New Creation in the Apostolic writings. Paul definitely demonstrates that the new creation results from dying and rising with Christ. Colossians demonstrates that Christ, being the firstborn from the dead becomes the firstborn over all the new creation. Those who entered Christ through faith and baptism likewise died with Christ and entered the new creation. Therefore, if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. (2 Cor. 5:17)
